BUCKS COUNTY, PA \u2014 Two people were killed in separate storm-related accidents on Lower Bucks County highways over the past few days.<\/p>\n
Authorities reported that a driver was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Middletown Township on Sunday night, while the driver of a tanker truck was killed after it overturned on a ramp to Route 1 early Monday morning.<\/p>\n
The driver lost control of a tanker truck that overturned off the ramp from eastbound Interstate 276 going onto Route 1 in Trevose just before 1 a.m. on Monday, authorities said.<\/p>\n
Authorities said a male driver was later pronounced dead after being trapped inside, after the truck had landed on its side down an embankment. <\/p>\n
At 6:05 p.m. on Sunday, the Middletown Township Police Department responded to Veterans Highway in the area of the Hong Luck restaurant in Levittown for a report of a two-vehicle crash.<\/p>\n
Police officers found a white Genesis GV80 and a brown Range Rover involved in the crash, with the Genesis driving southbound on Veterans Highway and the Range Rover heading northbound.<\/p>\n
Police said the Genesis lost control and entered the northbound lane, hitting the Range Rover and then rolling onto its roof. <\/p>\n
The driver of the Genesis was killed, police said. Police did not release the names and genders of the victims.<\/p>\n
The driver and passenger of the Range Rover remained on the scene and were cooperating with police.<\/p>\n
The Middletown Township Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.<\/p>\n
