Additional snow accumulations 2 to 5 inches, greatest closer to Lake Erie. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will produce significant blowing and drifting with near whiteouts at times,&#8221; can be expected according to the weather service. &#8220;The lake effect snow band will slowly lift north this evening and weaken.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"REFTJKXWRREN7AE5R6R73HPISI\">&#8220;Travel will be very difficult with snow covered roads. Areas of heavy snow and blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility.
