To be eligible to begin kindergarten in September 2026, children must:<\/p>\n
Be five years old on or before December 1, 2026, and
\nBe a resident of the school district<\/p>\n
Online Registration Only<\/p>\n
All kindergarten registration materials must be submitted through Aspen online<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n Families without an existing Aspen account will need to create one.\u00a0 Families who already have their students enrolled in the district (including those who participated in the UPK lottery or CPSE) will need to re-register their students.<\/p>\n Online Registration through Aspen Navigate to the Aspen home page<\/a>, under FAMILY Log In, select \u201cRequest an account\u201d If you are unable to access online registration or need assistance, please contact District Registrar Marina Bender at registration@bethlehemschools.org<\/a> to schedule an in-person appointment.<\/p>\n Already have an Aspen account?<\/p>\n Families of students previously registered through the UPK lottery, or CPSE, skip to the next section<\/a> for instructions on how to re-register.<\/p>\n Log in to Aspen<\/a> If you are unable to access your Aspen account, please email helpdesk@bethlehemschools.org<\/a> for assistance.<\/p>\n Families of Students Previously Registered through the UPK Lottery or CPSE<\/p>\n Families whose children were registered through the UPK lottery or CPSE and are moving to kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year have already completed much of the registration process.\u00a0<\/p>\n To complete kindergarten registration:<\/p>\n Log in to Aspen<\/a> You will need to provide:<\/p>\n Updated immunization records If you have moved or your child will not be attending Bethlehem Central School District for kindergarten, please notify the registrar by email at registration@bethlehemschools.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n Required Registration Documents<\/p>\n All families must submit the following documents as part of kindergarten registration.<\/p>\n Proofs of Residency<\/p>\n Three (3) proofs are required. Acceptable documents include:<\/p>\n Homeowner\u2019s insurance policy (parent\/guardian name and address) Additional Required Documents<\/p>\n Child\u2019s birth certificate or passport Students can not be registered without all of these documents.<\/p>\n Special Education Services<\/p>\n If your child receives special education services and will not attend kindergarten in fall 2026, you still need to register your child and contact the Office of Student Support Services at 518-439-8886 to discuss next steps.<\/p>\n Private School Families<\/p>\n Families planning to enroll their child in a private kindergarten program who wish to receive district transportation must still register their child with the district. \nLegal lease agreement with property owner and parent\/guardian signatures
\nHome purchase contract listing the property address and the purchaser\u2019s name<\/p>\n
\nCurrent immunization records (official, signed by physician)
\nParent\/guardian photo ID
\nCustody papers, if applicable<\/p>\n
