IN THE MEANTIME, WE WANT TO TURN TO BREAKING NEWS IN PITTSBURGH\u2019S ACTION NEWS FOUR REPORTER LILY COLEMAN. LILY ALLEGHENY COUNTY POLICE ARE NOW INVESTIGATING A SHOOTING IN WILKINSBURG OVERNIGHT. WHAT DO WE KNOW SO FAR ABOUT THIS CASE? WELL, SO FAR WE KNOW ONE PERSON WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL FROM THAT SCENE. GOOD MORNING TO YOU BOTH. WE CAN ALSO TELL YOU THAT ALLEGHENY COUNTY POLICE ARE NOW HANDLING THIS INVESTIGATION. AND WHILE DETAILS STILL REMAIN LIMITED, WE KNOW THAT IT IS ACTIVE AND ONGOING THIS MORNING. NOW, HERE ARE THE DETAILS THAT WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CONFIRM. POLICE WERE CALLED TO THE 1800 BLOCK OF CLARK STREET AROUND MIDNIGHT, AND WHEN OUR CREWS ARRIVED ON THAT SCENE, WE COULD SEE A NUMBER OF WILKINSBURG POLICE BEFORE COUNTY OFFICIALS WERE OFFICIALLY CALLED IN, WE COULD SEE THE CRIME SCENE. INVESTIGATORS FROM COUNTY COMING IN AS WELL TO HELP. NOW, THE HOME THAT THEY WERE CALLED TO IS A DUPLEX. YOU CAN SEE DETECTIVES FOCUSING THEIR INVESTIGATION ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THAT BUILDING. DETECTIVES COULD BE SEEN GOING IN AND OUT OF THAT HOME AND ALSO SEARCHING THE GROUND AND WALKWAY NEARBY, JUST OUTSIDE OF THAT RESIDENCE. COUNTY DISPATCHERS TELL US ONE PERSON WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL FROM THIS SCENE. AT THIS POINT, THOUGH, THE EXTENT OF THEIR INJURIES STILL REMAINS UNCLEAR. NOW, COUNTY POLICE ONLY CONFIRMING TO US THIS MORNING THAT THEY WERE CALLED IN TO INVESTIGATE. WE ASKED IF THEY WERE RESPONDING TO THAT SCENE OF A SHOOTING. THEY SAID YES. AT THIS POINT, WE\u2019VE STILL NOT RECEIVED ANY OTHER UPDATES FROM THEM.
