{"id":93756,"date":"2026-01-22T17:08:21","date_gmt":"2026-01-22T17:08:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/93756\/"},"modified":"2026-01-22T17:08:21","modified_gmt":"2026-01-22T17:08:21","slug":"american-airlines-to-offer-nonstop-flights-from-allentown-to-chicago","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/93756\/","title":{"rendered":"American Airlines to offer nonstop flights from Allentown to Chicago"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>American Airlines is adding new direct flights from Lehigh Valley International Airport to Chicago starting this spring.<\/p>\n<p>Nonstop flights from the Lehigh Valley to Chicago O\u2019Hare will be offered twice daily beginning May 21, the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority announced Thursday in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>Departures to Chicago will be at 6 a.m. and 5:18 p.m., and arrivals to the Lehigh Valley from Chicago will be at 4:48 p.m. and 10:15 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>American Airlines currently offers two daily nonstop flights to Charlotte Douglas International Airport and six daily round trips to Philadelphia International Airport aboard Landline Motorcoach.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStrengthening our connection with ORD brings significant benefits to the Lehigh Valley, offering travelers more convenient flight options and expanded access to West Coast and international destinations,\u201d Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority Executive Director Thomas Stoudt said in the release.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement comes after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcall.com\/2025\/07\/10\/allentown-airport-newark-bus-service-new-chicago-flight\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">United Airlines added an additional daily flight from the Lehigh Valley to Chicago<\/a> last summer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"American Airlines is adding new direct flights from Lehigh Valley International Airport to Chicago starting this spring.
