Students and teachers from Wyoming Seminary visited the University of Scranton on Thursday to participate in a hands-on entrepreneurial design challenge.<\/p>\n
SCRANTON, Pa. \u2014 Students spent Thursday honing their entrepreneurial skills in Scranton.<\/p>\n
Seventh-grade students from Wyoming Seminary took part in a hands-on entrepreneurial design challenge at the University of Scranton.<\/p>\n
They worked in teams with help from university graduate students to develop business plans, strategies, logos, and other business-related tasks.<\/p>\n
Organizers say the challenge helps students better understand what goes into starting a business.<\/p>\n
“I’m hoping they get a lot of teamwork exercise, which is important hoping they get an understanding of how to interact with these machines that we have up-and-coming technology that were hoping the students engage with and I think they’re gonna get a good sense of what it takes to actually start a business,” said Tom Bryant, Director of IDEA Center at the University of Scranton.<\/p>\n
