State Police Troop M, Bethlehem, are investigating a two-vehicle hit-and-run collision which occurred as a 2006 Acura MDX driven by Maurice Hudson, 24, of Bethlehem, and a 2022 Hyundai Tucson driven by Graisyn O. Schmidt, 22, of Kunkletown collided 12:15 a.m. Jan. 5 on Route 22 East in the area between Route 309 and Cedar Crest Boulevard, South Whitehall Township.<\/p>\n
According to police, there were no injuries.<\/p>\n
All occupants in both vehicle were wearing their seat belts, police say,<\/p>\n
According to police, the Acura sustained minor damages to the right-side and the Hyundai sustained damages to the front left.<\/p>\n
Police say Schmidt was issued a victim rights guide.<\/p>\n
A driver exchange report was prepared and virtually mailed to both drivers, police say.<\/p>\n
According to police, there was not enough evidence to prosecute hit-and-run charges against Hudson.<\/p>\n

State Police Troop M, Bethlehem, say Nicholas G. Damico, 60, of Breinigsville, was driving a 2021 Dodge Durango when it rear-ended a 2018 Toyota Highlander driven by Pablo A. Pelaez-Zorrilla, 68, of Fountain Hill, 5:44 p.m. Jan. 6 on Route 22 East at mile marker 319.7, South Whitehall Township.<\/p>\n
Police allege Damico failed to slow\/stop his vehicle subsequently striking the rear-end of the Toyota with its front end.<\/p>\n
Subsequently, a second impact occurred as the Toyota continued its momentum forward, striking the rear-end of a 2012 Subaru Impreza driven by Joscelyn S. Snyder, 27, of Bath, with its front end, police say.<\/p>\n
There were no reported injuries as a result of this crash.<\/p>\n
All drivers were wearing their seat belts, police say.<\/p>\n
Damico was charged with driving his vehicle at an unsafe speed.<\/p>\n
