\n\t\t\t\t\t\tAs this weekend’s storm inches closer and closer, neighbors throughout the city of Pittsburgh are stocking up with all of the essentials they may need ahead of the snow. “We’ve already preordered extra pallets of salt, extra power to water. We got more milk, we got more bread. So all the staples and one thing, and they always grab a lot of is that and dog food. We have a lot of that too,” said Jim and Michelle Kazaroski, the owners of the Mount Washington Shop’N’Save. Their team members have been busy all week preparing for the rush of customers. “Once you start mentioning the snow, it’s started,” Jim said. “So we’re anticipating today and tomorrow will be super busy also.”Shoppers like Sarah Hartman and her daughter, Amelia, are trying to beat the crowd by stocking up on essentials early Friday. “I lived in Erie, so I’m not scared. We are actually excited because this will be the first big snowfall for my kids,” Hartman said. “I remember the last snow, and everybody gets all worried about it. But it’s going to be on a Sunday, so nobody has to go to work,” said long-time Mount Washington resident Pat Gianella. However, the Kazaroskis say they will be open on Sunday and Monday in case anyone needs some last-minute items. “We are so fortunate with the best, most dedicated employees who live nearby, some of them even say they will walk if they have to,” Michelle said. Jim added, “Hopefully the sidewalks will be shoveled, the lot will be plowed, and we’ll have plenty of food for you guys.”\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
