From the early morning hours on Sunday until Monday afternoon, the sounds of shoveling will echo across the neighborhoods.<\/p>\n
Snow blanketed sidewalks, cars and driveways left many residents racing to keep up before the next round of flakes fell.<\/p>\n
However, for Erie residents, Andrea and Kevin Petrone, it\u2019s nothing out of the ordinary.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou just got to go out, and you know we constantly go out and shovel. Our neighbor next door has a snowblower, so that helps us out too,\u201d Kevin said.<\/p>\n
Restrictions in place for vehicles on Pennsylvania Interstates <\/a><\/p>\n Most residents like the snow, even if there is a lot, because it makes the city feel quiet in a peaceful way.<\/p>\n With Erie being at the top of the list for snowiest cities in America, most residents are used to it.<\/p>\n However, for people who are new to the city, locals said there is one big tip to follow.<\/p>\n \u201cThey shouldn\u2019t be driving if they\u2019re not used to it. We\u2019re used to it, and even us being used to it, it\u2019s slippery out when you\u2019re coming down around here,\u201d the Petrones said.<\/p>\n
