PITTSBURGH \u2014 In Hampton Township, plow drivers spent all day clearing at least 20 parking lots in the North Hills.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe started around 3:30, fourish, it\u2019s just been nonstop,\u201d plow driver Joey Mancini said.<\/p>\n
It was nonstop work in the endless snowfall. <\/p>\n
The steady flow made matters tricky for Joey Mancini.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe got to one lot, go back an hour and a half later and it looks untouched,\u201d Mancini said.<\/p>\n
Digging out can look different.<\/p>\n
One man spent about 15 minutes searching for his buddy\u2019s phone\u2026buried deep in the snow. <\/p>\n
Channel 11 caught their excitement when they finally found it.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have a box, like a food box, like there\u2019s food inside, he took it off and he dropped the phone from his bucket,\u201d GJ Mo said.<\/p>\n
In snow-covered downtown, we found a family from Nashville, Tennessee, here for a hockey game this weekend. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe were supposed to play today, but the rink closed, so we\u2019re just hanging out. Our flight got delayed and we\u2019re going to go out tomorrow\u2026hopefully, we\u2019ll see,\u201d said Joel Moenkhoff.<\/p>\n
He\u2019s hoping to get home soon to his wife, who\u2019s expecting their fifth child. An ice storm back home knocked out power at about 6:30 a.m. this morning.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s going to be worse, yeah, it\u2019s just ice. You guys, the snow is good, the ice in Nashville is really bad right now.\u201d<\/p>\n
That family has an early morning flight but is prepared to stay another night. <\/p>\n
Meantime the plow drivers say they will be out until at least 7 a.m. on Monday.<\/p>\n
