ALLENTOWN, Pa. – As we’ve been saying, thanks to all of that cold, this snow is not going anywhere anytime soon.<\/p>\n
So why not make the best of it?<\/p>\n
Sunday’s snowfall has plenty of people trading in shovels for sleds.<\/p>\n
“Well, I have off from school and so we got together and we’re just sledding,” says one student.<\/p>\n
“Meeting up with friends to sled. It\u2019s going to be very fun,” says another.<\/p>\n
Kids across the area are enjoying a good old fashioned snow day.<\/p>\n
“Yeah, the flexible instruction days they’re not fun,” says one child who went sledding.<\/p>\n
“Yeah, so it was fun to have a traditional snow day and go out in the snow and sled and just play in the snow,” says another.<\/p>\n
“It\u2019s a lot more fun than being inside on a zoom call,”<\/p>\n
There’s plenty of good sledding terrain to scope out. “I think its soft but there’s a lot of it,” another kid says.<\/p>\n
The hill behind Cedar Crest College in Allentown is a hot spot.<\/p>\n
“There’s some parts where you just turn sideways and just flop into the snow and that’s really fun.\u201d<\/p>\n
