PAINESVILLE, Ohio — Lake Erie College is expanding access to mental health care through a new partnership with Family Pride of Northeast Ohio.<\/p>\n
The program will bring in-person mental wellness services directly to campus and the surrounding community in Painesville.<\/p>\n
By offering services on campus, the partnership aims to reduce common barriers such as transportation, scheduling challenges and stigma that can prevent individuals from seeking help.<\/p>\n
Family Pride of Northeast Ohio is a long-established provider of behavioral health and wellness services throughout the region, serving individuals and families ages 3 and older. Its approach focuses on meeting clients where they are, making care more convenient and accessible.<\/p>\n
Family Pride will maintain a regular presence in the college\u2019s Garfield Building, offering professional counseling and mental wellness services up to three days per week, as needed. <\/p>\n
College officials say the collaboration reflects Lake Erie College\u2019s ongoing commitment to mental health, well-being, and access to care. <\/p>\n
