Philadelphia, January 27, 2026 \u2013 The Philadelphia Art Museum\u00a0will\u00a0introduce Pay What You Wish Friday Nights for\u00a0the final three\u00a0Fridays\u00a0of its\u00a0Dreamworld: Surrealism\u00a0at\u00a0100\u00a0exhibition.\u00a0 Admission\u00a0on January 30, February 6, and February 13\u00a0will\u00a0include full access to the exhibition at no\u00a0additional\u00a0charge\u00a0after 5:00 p.m., marking the first time\u00a0that\u00a0a major special exhibition\u00a0is\u00a0part of\u00a0the art museum\u2019s\u00a0Pay What You Wish\u00a0offering. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Dreamworld\u00a0has received critical\u00a0praise from\u00a0multiple\u00a0outlets including\u00a0The New York Times<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0The Wall Street Journal<\/a>. \u00a0Philadelphia is the exclusive U.S. venue and the final stop on the exhibition\u2019s international tour.\u00a0During these Pay What You Wish Friday Nights, visitors can also enjoy the art museum\u2019s signature Friday Nights experience, featuring a special surreal cocktail, light bites, and live music from resident DJ, y\u014dsukeDj. The Philadelphia Art Museum\u2019s presentation includes a\u00a0unique exploration\u00a0of the\u00a0artists who fled Europe during World War II and developed new creative practices in Mexico and the United States. The show highlights\u00a0artists\u00a0who expanded\u00a0the\u00a0visual\u00a0imagination through experimentation, global dialogue, and bold new forms of expression.\u00a0<\/p>\n With\u00a0the\u00a0galleries open late, guests can unwind from the week, explore\u00a0highlight artworks, and discover new favorites. On February\u00a06, the\u00a0Philadelphia Ballet will perform Connection, a sculptural and hypnotic pas de trois choreographed by Juliano Nunes in 2020\u00a0that\u00a0explores\u00a0what it means to be connected.\u00a0The final Pay What You Wish Friday\u00a0Nights\u00a0will\u00a0land\u00a0on February\u00a013, the same evening\u00a0as\u00a0the art\u00a0museum\u2019s Black History Month celebration.
