\n\t\t\t\t\t\tThe National Weather Service has issued a cold weather advisory for south-central Pennsylvania for the third time this week. The Susquehanna Valley is facing a stretch of extreme cold and dangerous wind chills. The entire region is under a cold weather advisory until 10 a.m. Wednesday. The National Weather Service issued another advisory to take effect from 1 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday. Safety precautionsWind chills could drop as low as 15 below zero, which could cause hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.The NWS advises residents to wear warm clothing, hats and gloves if outdoors. Impact WeekThe WGAL News 8 Storm Team has designated Tuesday through Saturday as Impact Days, as frigid temperatures and bitter winds continue throughout the week.Some mornings could even challenge and possibly break several record lows this week.The Storm Team is also tracking a possible snowstorm this weekend.
