\u2018Shark Tank<\/a>\u2018 producers will host open casting call<\/a> March 18 in Philadelphia Think your business idea has the teeth\u00a0to cut it\u00a0on \u201cShark Tank\u201d? Your\u00a0next shot is right around the corner\u00a0\u2013\u00a0or, rather, across\u00a0the Delaware.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n Casting producers for ABC\u2019s business-themed\u00a0TV\u00a0series<\/a> will return to Philadelphia March 18 for an open audition of local entrepreneurs, who can pitch their products,\u00a0services\u00a0and ideas.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n While the \u201cSharks\u201d\u00a0\u2013\u00a0cast members<\/a> including entrepreneurs Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John and more \u2013 will not\u00a0be on hand at the event, participants will have the opportunity to deliver a one-minute pitch about their business,\u00a0product\u00a0or idea to the casting team\u00a0for a chance to appear on the show.\u00a0<\/p>\n The open casting call will take place March 18 at The Event Center at Rivers Philadelphia in Fishtown<\/a>. Contestants may begin lining up at 8 a.m. Numbered wristbands will be distributed from 9 to 11 a.m., with pitches expected to begin about 10 a.m.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n Applications are available at ABC.com<\/a> and onsite. Successful participants may be selected to appear on Season 18 of \u201cShark Tank,\u201d organizers said<\/a>.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n Another shot<\/p>\n The March event in Philly will be the only East Coast casting call \u201cShark Tank\u201d will hold for Season 18, which is expected to begin airing later this year.\u00a0The event will take place in collaboration with WPVI-TV\/6abc.\u00a0<\/p>\n Interested?<\/p>\n \u201cShark Tank\u201d applications are available at ABC.com<\/a> and on-site.\n<\/p>\n More than 900 people lined up for last year\u2019s casting call in Philly, when producers heard over 460 pitches. Entrepreneurs who pitched in 2025 are welcome to try again.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u00a0were blown away by\u00a0last year\u2019s turnout and the quality of the entrepreneurs that presented to us. Returning to Philly was\u00a0a no-brainer, and we\u00a0can\u2019t\u00a0wait to see what innovative brands and entrepreneurs will impress us with in March,\u201d said Mindy\u00a0Zemrak,\u00a0supervising\u00a0casting\u00a0producer of \u201cShark Tank.\u201d\u00a0\n<\/p>\n New Jersey alumni\u00a0<\/p>\n Michael Silva, a Rutgers\u00a0alumnus<\/a>\u00a0who invented tailgating game\u00a0QB54\u00a0with brother Frank<\/a>, appeared on \u201cShark Tank\u201d in October 2025.\u00a0He\u00a0was one of hundreds who pitched his idea at last year\u2019s event in Philly.\u00a0 Other \u201cShark Tank\u201d participants from the Garden State include:\u00a0\n<\/p>\n Mad Mutz<\/a> \u2013 a\u00a0flavored mozzarella sticks brand co-founded by the owner of pizzeria Tony Boloney\u2019s\u00a0
