For the first time in program history, the Texas Tech Red Raiders are in the College Football Playoff.

And they’ll have their hands full in their first matchup.

Texas Tech squares off against No. 5 Oregon in the CFP Quarterfinal at the Orange Bowl. Joey McGuire’s squad will look to corral potential first-overall draft pick Dante Moore and advance to college football’s final four. The Ducks are coming off a first-round rout of James Madison.
