The Washington Commanders and Dallas Cowboys face each other on Christmas Day at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, at 1:00 p.m. EDT.

It’s a relatively meaningless game, as both teams are out of the playoffs, but because it’s a divisional game, there is still some intrigue. You never know what can happen in a divisional matchup. Josh Johnson could look like a different quarterback this week, Javonte Williams won’t play, or any number of other scenarios.

Even though anything can happen, there are still certain things we can expect from both teams. While there aren’t a lot of great options for player prop bets this week, we’ve managed to find the three best player prop bets in this Week 17 matchup, per BetMGM.

Passing yards: QB Dak Prescott OVER 250 yards -235

Honestly, it was tempting to pick over 300 yards at +150 because the Commanders‘ secondary is a huge weakness, but in their first meeting this season, Prescott threw for 264 yards, so we kept it at 250. This is also because, at some point, the Cowboys will stick to running the ball to control the clock. Over 250 passing yards is a safe bet for Prescott against the Commanders.

Williams is questionable for the game with a neck injury, so keep an eye on his status. In their first matchup, Williams rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown. The Commanders’ defense certainly hasn’t gotten better as the season nears its end, so there’s no reason to think he can’t do it again.

Receiving yards: WR CeeDee Lamb OVER 100 yards +145

Earlier this year, Lamb recorded five receptions for 110 yards and a touchdown against the Commanders. Similar to Williams, the Commanders’ secondary is missing some key pieces in Trey Amos and Marshon Lattimore, so there’s no reason to think he won’t hit 100 yards again in Week 17.
