Oregon is known for its flashy uniforms and bright colors, but it is going with a clean white look for the upcoming College Football Playoff quarterfinal matchup against Texas Tech.

The Ducks revealed their next jerseys on Wednesday:

As the No. 5 seed against the No. 4 seed, Oregon is considered the road team for the Orange Bowl and will be wearing the white. It was the better seed in the CFP opener against No. 12 James Madison and had far more color in that contest.

Those jerseys were primarily green with yellow pants:

The Ducks were in cruise control for much of that contest and jumped out to a commanding 34-3 lead in the first half. However, James Madison outscored the Big Ten team in the second half and finished with 34 points in a 51-34 loss.

Oregon head coach Dan Lanning wasn’t happy with the performance.

“There’s a standard here,” he said, per ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura. “There’s certainly a standard of performance. Our players know that, and they know what championship football looks like—and the second half didn’t look like that.”

It will take a better defensive performance from the Ducks if they are going to advance against a Texas Tech team that won the Big 12 title with a 12-1 overall record.
