Officials have identified a 15-year-old boy who died in a hospital following a shooting this month in Fort Worth.

Ricardo Acevedo died around 3:21 p.m. on Dec. 22, according to the Tarrant County Medical examiner’s office.

Officer found the teen after arriving to a reported shooting in the 7400 block of Snow Ridge Drive, according to Fort Worth police.

Police learned the teen had been shot in the upper torso, police said. He died while being transported to the hospital.

As of Sunday, there have not been any arrests in connection to the shooting, according to Fort Worth police jail records.
