As the Sun Bowl enters its 92nd edition, the New Year’s Eve matchup remains a constant in El Paso — a day when friends and families turn tailgates into fiestas and the experience matters just as much as the final score.

This year, Arizona State University faces Duke University at Sun Bowl Stadium – a rematch of the 2014 game where the Sun Devils claimed victory over the Blue Devils.

“Our city and the nation will be treated to a great offensive showdown. The Sun Bowl Association could not have asked for a better match-up,” Executive Director Bernie Olivas said in a statement.
