AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The Amarillo Wranglers fell to the El Paso Rhinos 5-2 on Sunday night in a hard fought battle.
The Rhinos scored first, but Ty Izadi equalized with a goal in the first period, his 10th of the year.
El Paso scored three straight goals before Daniel Rassega found the back of the net with just under four minutes left in the third period for his 16th goal of the season.
A late goal from the Rhinos sealed the win.
The loss drops Amarillo to 14-15 overall this season.
The Wranglers return to action Friday, facing Corpus Christi on the road.
