Texas State football is trying to get back in the win column, as it faces off with Marshall in an away matchup.

The Bobcats were a missed field goal away last Saturday from defeating the Trojans. Instead, Texas State walked away with a 48-41 loss and more questions than answers. Although the offense led by quarterback Brad Jackson has been impressive through six games, the defense has left much to be desired. —

Marshall is 3-1 in its past four games, with its lone loss being a 54-51 overtime thriller against Louisiana. Its offense, led by quarterback Carlos Del Rio-Wilson and wide receiver Demarcus Lacey, will be a stiff challenge for a weak Texas State secondary.
