DEGRAFF — A woman from San Antonio, Texas, suffered non-life-threatening injuries Sunday evening in a head-on collision reported on U.S Highway 12.

The crash was first reported around 5:07 p.m. Sunday at mile post 52 on U.S. Highway 12 southeast of DeGraff. According to the State Patrol’s crash report, a Toyota Sienna — driven by Roberto Cruz, 35, of Clara City — was traveling eastbound as Klever was traveling westbound in a Kia Forte when the vehicles collided head-on.
Clever and Cruz were both wearing their seat belts and were the only occupants in their vehicles. Road conditions were listed as covered in snow and ice. Alcohol was determined not to be involved in the crash, according to the report.
DeGraff First Responders and Kerkhoven Fire Department and Ambulance also responded to the crash.
