42-year-old man recovering in Coastal Bend hospital after being shot multiple times

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — CCPD is looking for witnesses in the latest west side shooting over the holiday weekend. 

Officers arrived at Greenwood Drive and S. Port Avenue Sunday at 2 a.m. to find the 42-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. 

Details are limited at this time.

We do know officers performed CPR until medics arrived. The victim was rushed to Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital where he is expected to survive.

Detectives spent the early morning hours talking with any potential witnesses and looking for surveillance video of the shooting. No arrests have been made.
