The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a 14-year-old boy who has been missing for more than a week.

Crime: Horizon City man reported missing killed over alleged drug dispute

Axel Gerardo Esparza was last seen at about 8 a.m. on Dec. 20 around the 13000 block of Barnard Drive in the Sparks area off Horizon Boulevard, stated a news release issued by sheriff’s spokeswoman Priscilla I. Contreras on Monday, Dec. 29.

Esparza is about 5 feet 9 inches tall, 140 pounds with black hair and a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a red hoodie, gray sweatpants and black shoes, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
