EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy last days of 2025, Borderland! After a strong cold front brought wintry conditions on Monday, the region is drying out and warming up again just in time for the new year.
On Tuesday night, the low will drop to the low 40s. We’ll see mostly cloudy skies and calm winds through the evening.
For Wednesday, expect mostly sunny skies and a high in the low 30s. Winds will be calm, but conditions will overall be beautiful for the 2025 Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl game! Overnight, the low will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s range, making for a cool but comfortable midnight.
Your New Year’s Day is shaping up to feature a high in the upper 60s with light winds around 5-10 mph. There is a very slight chance for morning showers at this time, but after that, the afternoon and evening will be dry and quiet.
Breezy conditions will be present for Friday, with weekend highs in the upper 60s with mostly sunny skies. Lows will be in the upper 40s range.
At this time, Monday and Tuesday will have highs in the upper 60s with partly overcast skies. Lows will be above average, around the mid 40s and low 50s.
