“The deportation highlighted the swift action of our agents and our partners by successfully taking a violent assassin off the streets of El Paso,” said Jarod Brown, FBI El Paso Special Agent in Charge.
Pineda, a Mexican national, was wanted for her involvement in five homicides and suspected in multiple others in Ciudad Juárez.
She was arrested at a local motel, where authorities found firearms, machetes, and various drugs.
Pineda was known for her extreme brutality, such as dismembering bodies, removing hearts, and placing the hearts in front of “Santa Muerte” altars and statues.
The investigation was a multi-agency effort involving the FBI’s Safe Street Task Force and other law enforcement agencies.
