SAN ANTONIO, Texas (KWTX) – The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday announced a body has been found amid the search for the missing Texas teen Camila Mendoza Olmos.
Sheriff Javier Salazar said the Bexar County medical examiner must still determine the identity of the remains, per KENS.
Salazar said the body was found in a field “very close to Camila’s home.”
The woman’s family said Olmos was last seen next to her car outside her home in the 11000 block of Caspian Spring at about 7 a.m. on Christmas Eve.
Authorities on Monday released dash camera video that shows the missing 19-year-old.
A neighbor shared the video with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. They were on their way to work around 7 a.m. on Christmas Eve when they passed a person who appears to be Olmos.
At the time the video was released, authorities said they believed Olmos was in “imminent danger.”
