It didn’t take long for Trevon Diggs to find a new home.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the former Cowboys cornerback is signing with the Green Bay Packers. That means he’ll reunite with Micah Parsons.

Schefter added that Green Bay claimed Diggs on waivers.

Parsons, who was traded from Dallas to Green Bay before the 2025 season began, took to social media Wednesday to react to the Diggs news.

“We’re back ….” the star pass rusher wrote.

The Cowboys officially placed Diggs on waivers Tuesday, ending six seasons with the club and a career where he led the NFL in interceptions one season, was named to two Pro Bowls and one All-Pro team. He appeared in eight games this season in what has been a tumultuous few months for the former All-Pro.

Diggs finished his time with the Cowboys with 20 career interceptions. He was not credited with a pass breakup or interception this season.

A few hours before the Diggs news broke Wednesday, Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer explained the team’s decision to move on from the cornerback. Schottenheimer said he hoped Diggs would find a permanent home soon.

“It was really a culmination of multiple factors: performance, other elements,” Schottenheimer said. “He’s been an incredible player for this organization and I really do — I really do, I truly do, [because] I like Trevon a lot — wish him nothing but the best.”
