CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Four people were hospitalized early New Year’s Day after a rollover crash south of Odem, according to San Patricio County Sheriff Oscar Rivera.
Rivera said the crash happened near the cemetery and left one person with serious injuries. That patient was flown to a hospital by HALO Flight.
Three other people involved in the crash were taken to area hospitals by ambulance. Their conditions were not immediately released.
Rivera said emergency crews also responded to several fireworks- and disturbance-related calls overnight as New Year’s celebrations continued across the county.
The crash remains under investigation.
