The redshirt sophomore is the second noteworthy Longhorns wide receiver expected to enter the portal, joining DeAndre Moore Jr.
Livingstone made several big plays for Texas, particularly early in the season as the Longhorns waited for Emmett Mosley V to recover from an injury that cost him the first four games. Livingstone caught three touchdowns in the first two games of the season, including the only Texas TD in a road loss to Ohio State.
He finished the season with 516 receiving yards and six TDs. Livingstone also memorably threw a touchdown pass to his roommate, Arch Manning, in UT’s victory over Arkansas in November.
With his departure, Texas is now set to return two wideouts who started a game for them in 2025: Ryan Wingo and Mosley. That leaves room for a transfer addition, or for one of four top-200 freshmen receivers who signed in the 2025 recruiting class to step up. One of them, Kaliq Lockett, caught a TD pass from Manning in Texas’ victory over Michigan in the Citrus Bowl.
