Surface winds will continue from the west around 15 to 25 mph from Thursday afternoon through Friday evening, with gusts near advisory levels on the Caprock Friday afternoon.
KCBD(KCBD)
Elevated fire weather danger is expected across the Caprock Friday, but the higher dew points should keep fire danger from reaching critical levels.
KCBD(KCBD)
Winds will help keep overnight lows mild, generally in the low 40s to low 50s, and highs Friday are forecast to reach the 70s. Dry, warm weather is expected to continue well into next week.
Secure loose outdoor items and use caution with outdoor burning on the Caprock Friday.
