EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — UFC legend and former boxing world champion Holly Holmes is set to face El Paso’s undefeated Stephanie Han for the WBA lightweight title this weekend in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Holmes, 44, is the most prominent opponent Han has encountered in her 11-0 career.
Known for her legendary UFC career, Holmes was a bantamweight world champion and famously knocked out Ronda Rousey, earning multiple accolades in 2015.
Meanwhile, 35-year-old Han has been active and successful in her boxing career.
This marks Holmes’ second return to boxing after a 12-year hiatus for her UFC career.
The fight is scheduled for 6 p.m. El Paso time and will be available on DAZN.
