Crime Arrest Handcuffs Fingerprint (KPRC2/Click2Houston.com)
Court documents allege a restaurant worker secretly recorded customers inside a bathroom at a Lupe Tortilla near Katy Freeway.
Bayson Elias Pu, 31, is facing a felony invasive visual recording charge after court records say he placed a hidden camera inside a restaurant bathroom and captured video of a young child.
According to charging documents, Pu was employed at a Lupe Tortilla restaurant located at 9313 Katy Fwy. as a dishwasher
Two video files recovered from the device allegedly show a female child and an adult woman using the restroom, including footage of their buttocks.
Pu was arrested on Dec. 31, 2025, and is currently being held in the Harris County Jail with a $100,000 bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 5.
Additional court records list an immigration violation hold.
