LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Lubbock Police Department has restored public access to its interactive crime map, allowing residents to view criminal activity within city limits.
The online tool allows citizens to filter crime reports by type, location and date, providing transparency about public safety incidents in their neighborhoods. The map serves as a resource for residents seeking information about criminal activity in specific areas of Lubbock.
Citizens can access the crime map through a direct link at https://www.crimemapping.com/map/agency/735 or by visiting the Lubbock Police Department’s homepage at www.lubbockpolice.com and selecting the “View Crime Map” button.
Police officials remind users that although officers may be actively responding to a call, it may may not be immediately available on the crime map. Each crime report must complete an approval process before becoming accessible to the public.
