A woman and a dog were found dead after firefighters extinguished an RV fire that also spread to a nearby home in East Dallas Sunday morning, firefighters said.
Firefighters arrived at the RV in the 10300 block of Eastwood Drive at about 6:21 a.m. Sunday and saw heavy smoke coming from the vehicle, according to Jason Evans, a spokesman for Dallas Fire-Rescue.
The RV was parked next to a single-story home with two people inside.
Evan said firefighters were quickly able to put out the fully consumed RV and the flames that had spread to the nearby home.
