SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man who was chased by police for more than an hour Sunday night is facing several charges.
KSAT 12 reports the chase began on the Northeast Side, where San Antonio police officers attempted to stop the man.
He kept going, leading officers through neighborhoods until they rolled out some spikes near Marbach Road.
The flat tires didn’t stop the man who continued driving for several minutes until officers were able to pin his vehicle.
The man stopped, but refused to get out of the vehicle.
Officers broke through the vehicle’s windows and pulled the man out. He put up a struggle but the offiers were eventually able to take the man into custody.
His name hasn’t been released but police tell KSAT he is facing charges of evading arrest in a motor vehicle, aggravated assault on a police officer and resisting arrest.
