A crash shut down lanes and a ramp on Dallas North Tollway Monday morning, causing significant traffic disruptions in the area throughout the morning rush hour.
North Texas Tollway Authority sent an alert about the crash at 7:15 a.m. The alert said the ramp from Dallas North Tollway southbound to LBJ, or Interstate 635, westbound and two southbound lanes of Dallas North Tollway are blocked by a crash.
Delays are expected in the area into rush hour, according to the alert.
Another accident was reported in the Fort Worth area just ahead of the rush hour at about 4:45 a.m. and has not been cleared yet.
Breaking News
According to the Texas Department of Transportation’s Fort Worth office, all westbound lanes of I-30 at Chapel Creek are closed due to the wreck. Officials are encouraging drivers to use alternate routes.
