Cyrus Daniel Master, a proud Texan born and raised in Fort Worth, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 11, 2025, to join his beloved wife, Dorothy Rae Master. Graveside Service: 12 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2025, in the Breyley Suite at Mount Olivet Chapel. Born to Cyrus Homer and Mattie Lou Master on January 23, 1937, Cyrus lived a life marked by curiosity, passion, and devotion to family. From a young age, he developed a love for coin and stamp collecting, an interest passed down from his father that grew into a lifelong expertise as a Philatelist and Numismatist. Cyrus was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Eldora Lee and Nancy Lou; stepchildren, Terry Wayne Rust and Sherry Elaine Rust; and his cherished wife, Dorothy Rae. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Terri Tolson, Cyrus Daniel Master II, and Ruby Master-Rios; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
