The man who died Saturday after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a concrete pole and an unoccupied vehicle in a dealership parking lot has been identified.

Nathaniel Molina died in a hospital after the accident, according to the Collin County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Plano officers responded to reports of a traffic accident in the 1500 block of Dallas Parkway around 12:15 p.m., according to a previous statement from police.

Investigators determined that a silver Hyundai Accent was traveling southbound on Dallas Parkway when the driver, Molina, lost control.

The Hyundai left the roadway and drove into a Subaru dealership parking lot, where it came to a stop after colliding with a concrete pole and an unoccupied Subaru Legacy, the statement said.

The vehicle then caught fire, and Molina was pulled from the wreckage.

Molina was transported to a hospital by Plano Fire Rescue, where he was pronounced dead, according to the statement.

No other injuries were reported.
