A 32-year-old woman was stabbed and injured early Saturday in east Fort Worth, and another woman is in custody.
Officers were called to the Quickway convenience store at 6665 Randol Mill Road shortly after 12:30 a.m. They found a woman with injuries to her face and upper arm, police said. She’d been stabbed by another woman in the wooded area behind the location.
The suspect left the area, but was arrested a few hours later, according to the police report. Lauren Reese, 46, is being held in the Fort Worth City Jail. She faces a charge of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.

The woman who was stabbed was taken to a hospital for treatment and is expected to survive, police said.
