PLANO, Texas — A 23-year-old Richardson man has been sentenced to five years in federal prison for possession of stolen mail, according to U.S. Attorney Jay R. Combs. Sir Darius Lamar Edmondson was also ordered to pay $3,391.31 in restitution by U.S. District Judge Sean D. Jordan on December 15, 2025.
Edmondson pleaded guilty to the charges after being found with stolen mail on October 30, 2023. The case was investigated by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul Morris.
