A crash shut down all northbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway Monday night, causing significant traffic disruptions in the area for motorists.
According to an email alert from the North Texas Tollway Authority sent at 8:59 p.m., traffic was being diverted following the crash at Parker Road in Plano.
Delays are expected, and drivers should avoid the area if possible, the alert said.
Authorities did not provide a time for when they expect the lanes to reopen. Officials also did not immediately say if there were any injuries or fatalities as a result of the wreck.
