AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who allegedly stole several bottles of liquor from Twin Liquors on East 51st Street. The incident occurred on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 11 a.m.
The suspect is described as a Black male in his early 30s with a medium build. He was last seen wearing grey sweatpants, Nike Air Flight Huaraches in black, white, pink, and teal, and an Oilers cap, according to a press release from the department. The man reportedly concealed the bottles in his pant legs before leaving the store without paying.
Anyone with information is encouraged to submit a tip anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest.
