CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A 35-year-old man with ties to a violent prison gang was apprehended in Corpus Christi after being identified by the Newark Police Department. Kevin Kistler, of Corpus Christi, Texas, was wanted on seven active warrants across four states.

The Corpus Christi Police Department’s Gang Unit located Kistler in the 6300 block of S Padre Island Dr. and arrested him without incident on a warrant from Delaware, according to a press release from the department. At the time of his arrest, Kistler was also found in possession of a stolen vehicle.
