The Madison County Lady Raiders basketball team is continuing to gain momentum, putting together a strong performance in last week’s “McDonald’s Shootout” in Hart County.
Following a win over Seckinger on Dec. 27, the team dropped a close game to Hart County, 41-40. The Lady Raiders rebounded to finish the tournament with a 44-33 victory against Woodmont.
Madison County’s success carried over into their return to regular season play, as the girls got a 45-39 win over Hart County at home on Jan. 3.
Following a road matchup against Cedar Shoals on Jan. 6, the Lady Raiders will prepare to face the 6-5 Eastside Eagles on Jan. 9 on the road. The next day on Jan. 10, the team will host the 3-9 Franklin County Lions at 6 p.m.
