Notable: The biggest shift this week goes to No. 12 Coppell, which moved up four spots and was named our team of the week after upsetting Lewisville.

Forney also made itself heard with a thrilling win over Rockwall in the ultracompetitive District 10-6A with Rockwall-Heath, North Forney and Longview.

Dropped out: Crandall (20)

Notable: Colleyville Heritage edged Arlington Seguin in a nailbiter and take the No. 15 spot outright.

Another Heritage, this one in Midlothian, returned to the rankings with a convincing win over former No. 20 Crandall.

Dropped out: Kimball (5)

Notable: And the winner of the Oak Cliff Super Bowl is … Carter, which knocked Kimball from the rankings with its victory Saturday.

Carter stands alone atop District 8-4A Div. I, in which Kimball and Lincoln each have one loss. The district winner could be decided when Carter and Lincoln meet in the final week of the regular season.

Dropped out: Episcopal School of Dallas (8T)

Notable:

Arlington Pantego Christian has been quietly racking up wins in an undefeated season but made some noise with a win over Fort Worth Lake Country Christian last week. The team will look to keep it going against Lubbock Christian on Friday.
