After opening 20 locations in Arizona and Las Vegas, Angie’s is creating a new concept in Plano with menus from each concept.

Arizona favorite Angie’s Lobster, created by Salad and Go founders Tony and Roushan Christofellis (who sold their shares in 2021) is opening a new concept on West 15th Street on Nov. 13.

The original Angxie’s Lobster concept started in Phoenix, named after Tony’s late mother, Angela.

“We thought, what better way to honor her memory than by making a luxury foods, like Maine lobster, organic ingredients, grilled-to-order prime proteins and seed oil-free sauces affordable to the hard-working, everyday American, rather than just to the few who can afford it,” Tony said. “We were blown away by the enthusiasm and appreciation for making something like Maine lobster, only enjoyed on special occasions, into something that’s now a part of their weekly routine.”

After opening several Angie’s Lobster locations, the eatery launched a drive-thru location in 2022, followed by Angie’s Prime Grill in 2023. With 19 Arizona locations and one in Las Vegas, the Texas opening is a new venture.

“Our culture is about reducing non-mission critical costs to invest in what matters most: our food and our people,” Tony said.

Angie’s menu will include items like chilled and warm Maine lobster rolls, lobster cakes, wild-caught Mexican colossal shrimp and large salads.

Angie’s opens on Nov. 13 at 701 W. 15th St. in the former Boston Market space. The restaurant will serve menus from Angie’s Lobster and Angie’s Prime Grill from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
