Having been on the infield of Texas Motor Speedway a number of times, I can tell you the importance of a good cup of coffee in the morning of race week.
TMS said on Wednesday that it’s got a new brand to offer through a NASCAR-style partnership.
Katz Coffee has entered into a multi-year partnership with TMS to serve as the official coffee, tea, and lemonade provider of “The Great American Speedway,” the companies announced.
The partnership will make Katz Coffee products available throughout the facility during race weekends and special events. Texas Motor Speedway Executive Vice President and General Manager Mark Faber said the agreement will enhance the fan and customer experience by offering high-quality beverages across the venue.
Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Houston, Katz Coffee is the largest specialty coffee roaster in Texas. The company specializes in small-batch and custom roasting, sourcing green coffee beans from farmers around the world and roasting each batch with care and purpose.
Katz Coffee owner Avi Katz said the partnership reflects a shared emphasis on community and excitement, bringing the company’s products to fans during major race-day moments at the speedway.
Race fans will get their first taste of the partnership during the May 1–3 NASCAR weekend at TMS. The weekend includes the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series SpeedyCash.com 250 on May 1; the Andy’s Frozen Custard 340 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race on May 2 — we’ve had lots of Andy’s (righteous) Frozen Custard over the year; and the WÜRTH 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY NASCAR Cup Series race at 2:30 p.m. on May 3.
Katz Coffee also supports the PTSD Foundation of America and Camp Hope, initiatives that aid combat veterans and their families.
