I have been an eastsider all my life and in the 37 years of living here in El Paso it is safe to say, the city is nothing like it was three decades ago!

The whole city is growing, but East El Paso is growing fast, and with that growth comes big opinions and even bigger wish lists. After sharing the news that Orange Cow Burger and The Pizza Joint are opening new Eastlake locations, many locals commented mentioning other businesses they wish would open in the Eastlake and Horizon area.

Reading all those comments made me wonder, What other places do east el paso residents feel like we need on the Eastside? So I asked! From practical needs to dream destinations, Eastsiders made it clear they’re ready for more options closer to home. Many shared that as the area continues to expand, everyday errands shouldn’t require a cross-town drive, and I completely agree!
